In 1994, Tommy Allsup and Leon
Rausch formed this band to preserve the sound that Bob Wills created. Thay
have done that very well. They are the premier and most historical Western
Swing band of them all. Some of these members were in the original Playboy
band. If you can only buy one of these 5, we recommend the 1999 edition as
it is longer and has more of the original Texas Playboys playing.
